David Hutchison Meck, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025. David was born in Bucyrus, Ohio on March 11, 1936 to Calvin and Constance Meck. David loved being with his family, playing golf, and his time with friends.
David is survived by his children: Larry and partner Brenda; David and wife Nancy, Raymond and Christopher; six grandchildren: Brian, Kimberly, Melissa, Laura, Bradley and Ashley, nine great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Denise, parents, sisters Phyllis and Elaine, brother Thomas, son Joel and grandson Patrick.
He will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday October 17, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow in Morris Hall at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Caves Road, Austin, Texas 78746.
