David Hayden Pickle, 75, a long time resident of Austin, Texas passed away on February 19, 2005. He was born in Bridgeport, Texas on March 9, 1929 to Marjorie Nichols and David Vernon Pickle. David was raised by his fraternal grandparents, Judge David J. Pickle and Birdie Givens Pickle. The Pickle family were one of the original families to settle in the Govalle Area in the 1830s. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Jo-Anne Lawlor Pickle; a son, David William Scott Pickle; and sisters, Dolores Powell and Betty Johnson of Ft. Worth, Texas. David was a loving husband and father. He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Sue Pickle and a son, Charles Hayden Pickle. David is also survived by nieces, Delores Carol Shaw, Sharon Walker and Laura Ellen (Lolly) Walden of Ft. Worth, Texas and numerous cousins.
