It is with a sad heart that we had to say goodbye to our Loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather, Don Cole, this past Monday, February 19, 2018. It was very unexpected, but we take great joy in knowing that he is now in the loving merciful arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by everlasting love and all who have gone before him.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Eillene Cole who he shared 57 spirited years of marriage. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Eillene Johnson and husband, Lenny, and Sheryl Acosta and husband, Gene; grandchildren, Zachary Channing Cole Acosta and Mirissa Jade Johnson and husband, Zachariah; great grandchildren, Zachary Blake Acosta, Tyler Dylan Acosta, Aiden Cole Acosta, and Uriah Kade Johnson; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be at 3:30 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Wyles officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
