

He worked as a Building Contractor for 30 years and he served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II and Civilian Conservation Corps.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
He is survived by his wife Mildred, their son Gary and wife Jerlynn, granddaughters Sheri Miller (Bobby), Kristi McKenzie, five great-grandchildren Jacob, Corbin, Luke, Kayla and Kyle.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:30-8:30p.m. in the evening, on Thursday, the 4th of June 2015, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas
Funeral services will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 5th of June 2015, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks, Pflugerville, Texas.
