Family was the most important thing to Edna, and she will be fondly remembered for the family get-togethers she hosted at her home. She was known throughout the family for making the best gravy ever. Edna loved family camping trips and fishing, especially with her grandchildren. She was a superlative seamstress and made many outfits for her children growing up. She was co-owner and operator of the Town and Country Sewing Shoppe in South Austin for many years
Edna is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Fred D. Franki. She is survived by their four children, Fredi Franki, Roni Franki, Susi Schmidt and husband Lester, and Dan Franki; her three grandchildren, Beau Jacobson and wife Stephanie, Cherryl Dionne and husband Daniel, and Julie Moore and husband Ken; 8 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
