
Edsam Moore Ingram died on April 25, 2025, at Ascension Seton Hospital in Austin. Ed was born on May 27, 1936, to Samuel Ingram and Mary Lee Moore Ingram. He graduated from Austin High School in 1954 and earned degrees from Southwest Texas State College (1958) and the University of Texas School of Law (1964).
Ed practiced law in Austin for more than five decades and taught business law at ACC for more than 40 years. He also served his country in the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations, retiring in 1990 from the Air Force Reserves with the rank of Colonel.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Helen, his wife of almost 59 years, a plethora of friends, and his cat, “Sunshine.”
Services will be held at 1 p.m.Wednesday, April 30, at Weed Corley Fish Funeral home, 5416 Parkcrest Dr, Austin, with Pastor Matt Gaventa officiating. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Drive.
Ed was a faithful member of University Presbyterian Church where he ushered for more than 50 years and also served as Elder.
