Eileen Ann Patton Cooper Pat Pat Cooper, age 64, passed away December 18, 2004 at her home in Austin. A life long resident of Austin, Pat was born August 18, 1940. On July 5, 1957, she married Donald E. Cooper and began a relationship that will last for all time and eternity. A few short years after their wedding, they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where they continued to be active members. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was blessed to have many, many wonderful friends and relatives whom she loved and who loved her. She was very compassionate and tried to help others in whatever capacity she could. She was always there to help those who were sick or hurt. She often invited stray, orphaned or wounded animals into her home until they could return to their normal health. Even after decades of living with diabetes and later congestive heart failure, she always put others needs ahead of her own. Pat would encourage others to follow through with their goals by repeating words like, Dont give up now, youre almost there. Or, Two people can do anything as long as one of them is the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends and relatives. All of our lives are much better and richer because of the blessing of having Pat be part of our lives. Surviving members of her family include her husband, Donald E. Cooper; son, Troy E. Cooper; grandsons, Cole and Lucas Cooper; and her brothers, John Patton, Michael Patton, and Marlowe Fisher. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Scott Cooper and parents Helen Fisher and William F. Patton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 21 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 22 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress. A graveside dedication will be held at Live Oak Cemetery, in Manchaca, immediately following the funeral. Memorials and guestbook online at wcfish.com
