Elaine Foster Irvine Elaine Foster Irvine died suddenly on September 24th after a brief illness. She was born in Austin on March 7, 1931 to Mary Lois and Edwin Foster. Elaine graduated from S.F. Austin High School and attended the University of Texas. She was an avid exerciser, painter and traveled the world with Harry, the love of her life. The most important thing in life to her was family. After living in California for many years she returned to Austin to be with the heart of the family. Elaine is survived by her husband Harry Irvine, daughter Cynthia Durkin, son Mark Scott, granddaughters Crystal and Natalie Durkin, brothers Wilbur and wife Barbara, Tom and wife Janell, nephew Rick Foster and wife Sherry, nieces Diana Foster Elliot and husband Robert, Laura Foster Legg and husband Rob, great nephew, Dete Legg, aunt Helen Foster and numerous cousins. She was greatly loved and will be terribly missed by all. A Private Family Memorial will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
