Elias Samuel Jurado

Sammy attended the Round Rock school system and graduated from Round Rock High School in 2007.

He was an avid enthusiast of Martial Arts and loved motorcycles. He also enjoyed being in the outdoors.

As a teenager, Sammy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 16 when he attended church and youth group at Northwest Fellowship in Austin.

In later years Sammy struggled with mental illness and had a somewhat rough exterior but on the inside was a caring and loving individual. He loved his daughter with all of his heart and cherished his time with her. He would always put others before himself. His character and persona will never be duplicated. He was very smart and had a keen sense of humor. He had the greatest infectious smile that could light up any room. He loved to make others laugh and would quote funny phrases from movies that always made us laugh. One of the many things our Sammy will be remembered by is that he was fiercely protective of his family. Sammy will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Isabella Jurado, his father Elias (Eli) Jurado, brothers Ray Jurado and Drake Jurado, as well as his grandparents, Jesse Jurado and wife Stella, and Don Latta.

Sammy was predeceased by his beloved mom and greatest advocate, Laurie Jurado.

He is also survived by his Mother, Lisa Cruz, Maternal Grandparents John and Mary Alice Cruz.
