Liz dedicated over 35 years of her life to a successful career in IT/Programming. She contributed her expertise at Dell for 23 years and later provided software programming and troubleshooting services for the VA. Her intelligence, creativity, and teamwork made her an invaluable member of every project she undertook.
In her personal life, Liz was known for her kindness and generosity. She always prioritized the needs of others above her own and had a special talent for baking. Her passion for baking led her to create countless cakes for family gatherings, especially her daughter's birthday parties. Liz was an avid reader, having devoured approximately 10,000 books in her lifetime. She particularly enjoyed works by author Nora Roberts. Family was at the center of Liz's world, and she lovingly cared for her relatives whenever they needed her support.
Liz is survived by her beloved spouse, Tina Phifer; daughter, Sierra Conde (Erick); granddaughter, Elina Conde; grandson, Logan Conde; sisters, Dorothy Guerrero, Peggy Pilgrim-Rivera (Joe); and brother, Ray Pilgrim Jr. As well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Eugene Pilgrim and Ruth Flores Pilgrim, and her sisters, Paula Flores, Betty Ann Jaramillo, and Mary Alvarez.
In her free time, Liz enjoyed baking, reading, fishing, and spending quality moments with her grandchildren.
