

Elizabeth Vega Ramos, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 72 in New Port Richey, Florida. Born on November 24, 1952, in Patchogue, New York, Elizabeth brought warmth and joy into the lives of everyone she met.
As a dedicated homemaker, Elizabeth filled her home with love, laughter, and the delightful aroma of home-cooked meals. Her passion for sewing, knitting, and gardening was evident in every stitch and bloom, as she created beauty both within her home and beyond.
A faithful member of the Catholic community, Elizabeth found strength and solace in her faith, which guided her through the joys and challenges of life. Her spirit of kindness and generosity was a testament to her unwavering belief in compassion and love for others.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Norberto and Guadalupe Elva Gonzales Vega. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Joaquin Perez Ramos; her sons, Marcus Ramos and his wife Penjani, and Pedro Ramos; her daughter, Sonia Ramos; her brothers, Michael Vega and Daniel Arroyo; her sisters, Carmen De Vega, Laura Fenz, Rosemarie Vega, and Delores Arroyo. She also leaves behind a legacy through her eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward her values and love.
Though Elizabeth's accomplishments may not have been written in headlines, they were etched in the hearts of her family and friends, who were forever touched by her gentle nature and unwavering support.
Funeral services will be held in Austin, Texas, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Elizabeth’s life and honor her memory. As we say goodbye, we remember her not only for the roles she played but for the love she shared and the lives she enriched.
