Ellis, a 1968 graduate of University of Texas, was an accomplished Aero Space engineer. He started his own company in 1981, Structural Analysis, Inc. that developed mTab Stress software, and did consulting for NASA and many other companies. He loved his family, friends, UT football, flying, running, skiing, barbequing and travel.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Caroline Morgan; son, Ellis K. Morgan; daughter, Katie Morgan; sister, Martha Ann Baker. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Morgan.
He enjoyed his life to the fullest and will be missed by all for his integrity, kindness and laughter.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 21st at 11:00 am at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, 7127 Bee Cave Road, Austin, TX 78746.
