Erna L. Jeffrey

Erna served as an Administrator for the Austin Independent School District until she retired in 1990, a job she loved and took pride in performing. She was also an active member of The Church at Highland Park, where she spent many years doing volunteer secretarial work when they needed extra help.

Erna will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and neighbors alike for her generous and uplifting spirit. Erna was preceded in death by her husband, Tyre Dillard Jeffrey, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Penny Todd Rosina, her son, Sam Jeffrey (Kathryn); her grandchildren Matt Todd (Michelle), Stephen Jeffrey (Lauren), Michelle Jeffrey and Mercer Jeffrey; her great-grandchildren Colton Jeffrey, Grace Todd, and Audrey Todd.

A funeral service for Erna will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM at The Church at Highland Park, 5206 Balcones Drive, Austin, Texas.
