Ernest V. Luna, age 66, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009. He was born in Austin, Texas, January 12, 1943. Ernest retired from HEB after 20 years of service. Ernest is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary R. Luna of Mustang Ridge; sons, Ernest Luna Jr. of Austin, Peter Luna of Smithville and Robert Falcon of Austin; brothers, Ralph Luna of Huntington, Texas, Mcray Luna of Austin, William Roberts of Buda, Robert Roberts of Manor, and Bob Roberts of Smithville; sisters, Emma Hernandez of Austin, Judy Camacho of Dallas, Edna Juarez of Austin and Bernadine Miller of Manor; aunt, Felicitas Torres; uncle, Paul Hernandez; six grandchildren; four great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother, Elena Luna Roberts. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish South, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Friar Francisco Munoz officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
