Ernestine attended Groveton ISD schools. She was a resident of Nederland, Texas from 1947 to 1988, a former member of the 1st Baptist Church in Nederland, her church was very important to her, she enjoyed her church activities.
Ernestine enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Walter Allen Jordan and wife Darleen, Clair Beth Jordan; grandchildren, Robert and wife Jamie, Aaron and wife Kelli, Casey, Alex Jordan; sister, Erlene Lott Witt; great-grandchildren, Walker Remynse, Kaleb William Jordan, Riley Allen Jordan.
There will be a visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3rd at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Memory Gardens in Nederland, Texas.
