I met Mrs. Ethel Cook on August 12, 2018. She kept calling my phone by mistake looking for her friend Judy. I finally picked up my phone one day to let her know she had been calling the wrong number, and I offered to help her find Judy. We talked on the phone for a long time and I offered to go visit her up in Austin (I am in San Antonio) and she agreed :) My boyfriend and I drove up there not know what to expect but full of excitement. We got to the place she was staying at, found her room, we stood outside her door very nervously and finally, we met the sweet lady that had been calling my phone. We talked and she gave us relationship advice. Always hug each other, make memories, and love each other a lot. We had supper with her and a friend of hers, they both seemed very happy which made us happy. It was time to say goodbye and with sadness we left. I didn’t see Mrs. Ethel after that. I called the home looking for her so that I can come up and see her, but they gave me the news. I have been saving this link for a long time now, because I couldn’t find myself letting Mrs. Ethel go without me visiting her one more time. But I think I’m finally ready. I know she’s up in heaven with her amazing husband who she said she loved deeply. Thank you for the advice Mrs. Ethel, you have impacted my life without knowing <3
