Fannie L. Bonnet, 71, died peacefully in her sleep early Tuesday morning on March 22, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family when God called her home to heaven. She passed away at Cornerstone Hospital in Austin, TX after a courageous battle of multiple illnesses, primarily respiratory related.
She was born in Austin on September 17, 1944 to the late August Hilmer and Tina Pauline (Anderson) Stark.
Prior to the peak of her illness, she enjoyed oil painting, traveling, fishing, and trips to the Texas coast. Most of all, she is fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her family, which she cherished tremendously.
Fannie's husband, Raymond Allison Bonnet, Sr., predeceased her in 2012 after almost 50 yrs of marriage. She never seemed to get over losing the love of her life and mourned for Raymond almost daily after his passing. Now, they are together again in heaven!
Fannie is survived by her children: Raymond Bonnet Jr of Austin, Tina Daniel and her husband Edward of Cedar Park, Randy Bonnet of Austin, Rachel Mansell and her husband Robert of Burnet. Grandchildren: Jonathan Daniel, Matthew Daniel and his wife Alyson, Zachary Daniel, Alison Rojas and her husband Marcos, Gary Reese Jr., Allison Pritchett and her husband Cameron, Emily Bonnet, Christina Bonnet, and Augustus Bonnet. Great-grandchildren: Nickolas & Madison Rojas. Sisters: Dorothy Farmer and her husband, Paul of Austin, Martha Bonnet and her husband, James of Liberty Hill. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as siblings: Katherine Rolff, David Stark, and August Joseph (AJ) Stark.
The funeral service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 26th of March, 2016 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church at 12062 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
