

As a young girl she had a passion for dance and music. She taught dance in the 1940’s. She played the piano on a live radio show prior to World War II. She married the love of her life, Robert Maxmillian Doetsch on June 18,1941. She was a woman of faith and was devoted to her family. She was a bookkeeper, organist for Sacred Heart Church for 36 years, volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul, and taught water aerobics until she was 93 years old. She also had multiple hobbies such as reading and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Doetsch. She is survived by children Diane Alvis and husband Joel of Spring, Tx, Madonna Pool and husband Bob of League City, Tx, Laura Measeles and husband Tommy of Austin, Tx, Leesa Anderson and husband Ken of Austin, Tx, and Blanton Doetsch and Geneva of Austin, Tx and 11 beloved grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
We wish to acknowledge special care given by Bel Air Teravista and Harbor Hospice both of Round Rock, Texas. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Charity in Austin, Texas.
A visitation will be held on Thursday May 25, 2017, 6pm until 7pm followed by the Rosary at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas. Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. 10205 FM 620, Austin, Texas 78726.
