Fred A. House, age 72, of Austin, died Sunday, January 1, 2006. After Fred completed 2 years at San Antonio Community College he received his Associate Degree in Journalism, he then moved to Austin where he attended the University of Texas for 2 years before starting his long association and eventual retirement from Austin Lacquer Company. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Connie House; niece, Lorraine Irizarry and husband Vincent; nephew, Randy House and wife Coco; great-nephew, Chris House;James Buchanan, his close friend of 45 years. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Interment will be held at Austin Memorial Park.
