Genaro N. Esparza

Genaro was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa; father, Genaro Sr.; his son, Genero III; sisters, Dora Polanco and Bertha Esparza; and his brothers, Richard and Henry, all of Austin, TX. He is survived by his wife, Mary Esther Esparza; his sons, Steven and Anthony Esparza; his daughters, Teresa Nava, Rosemarie Medrano, Lisa Ortiz and Gina Esparza; his step-children, Arnold Hidrogo, Sylvia Gonzales, Debra Marrero and Loretta Hidrogo; his sisters, Janie Riojas and Ofelia Martinez; his brother, Eddie Esparza; as well as many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Honoring Genaro and serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas esparza, Jimmy Gamez, Jr., Ryan Gamez, Matthew Gamez, Steven A. Esparza, and Michael Contreras, Angel R. Lopez, Jesse Contreras, Jr., Gino Esparza. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam J. Rodriguez, Albert Esparza, Henry Herrera, Raul Medrano, Paul Nava, Ricky Gonzales, and Randy Ortiz.
