Gene was always there to help others.  One way was to bring them to Jesus through his loving Mother Mary.  Saving souls is what Gene did in these times of great disrespect for FAITH.  Let's join Gene to  HONOR to LOVE with all our hearts and strengthen our Loving Father.


I'm sorry for the loss of Gene Raulie. He is with our lord Jesus Christ and savior and his beloved Wife Marion Raulie.

So sorry to read of Gene's passing. I am a cousin of Marion's living in Calgary, Alberta Canada.  I continued to send Christmas cards to Gene all these years evan after Marion's passing. The pictures below are in 1997 when Gene and Marion visited us here. One is of Gene and Marion with Calgary in the background. I am so pleased that Gene was so dedicated to the Knights of Columbus, since I am a Knight as well.

Hello from Vermont.  Found obit by accident looking up Dennis from Mercedes.  My folks Bubba and Aline were friends with your parents and we kids kinda hung out together.  Dennis and I were in class together and Barb and my brother, Gary were in the same class.  Your family actually spent a week with us in Vermont during your travels one summer.  I think we were seniors.  Have so many good memories of Mercedes; knew I wanted to stay with your family and not come back to Vermont.  Was so sorry to hear about the recent passing of your father and earlier, your Mom.  Both my parents are gone.  Sad to think I am an orphan.  Just my sister Deb is left.  My address is Snooky Richards, p. o. box 141, Bethel, VT  05032.  I would love to hear from either of you and hear about your families.  You folks and I exchanged holiday cards for years and then I got lazy.  Do not mean to be long winded but that is the way Vermonters talk.  I have four (4) sons and eight (8) grand children. Mr Raulie introduced me to the Schoenstatt Movement.  He helped me during a very difficult point in my life. He was an angel of God.

Gene was the Father of our Mother Thrice Admirable's Wayside Shrines in Austin Holy Family School,Cedar Park, St. Margaret Mary's Church, Mànor  Do one Mercy Center was the 1st of 3 at Mànor location, and Làkeway for Church of the Resurrection Emmaus, a Rosary Shrine,. His brother and he  build a Holy Rosary Garden at his brother's Church as well.  One of Gene's missions was to bring other men down to the  Confidencia Shrine in Rockport to meet their other Mother, our Mother Thrice Admirable. Thank you  Child Jesus and Mother Mary for sending me a good friend and showing me how to love, be devoted and take care of forever your wife in sickness and death.

At last, you are in heaven with your beloved Marion.

You always remembered clearly every meaningful date in your life.  Now we will remember you and your long life of faith and service.

I met Mr Raulie at a Schoenstatt gathering in Austin before the Shrine was built. When I was ready to erect my Schoenstatt Home Shrine, I called him to help me gather people to my home Mass.  He called approximately thirteen St Margaret Mary people who graced my home on January 7, 2007, the Feast Of The Epiphany.   I will never forget him and his kindness.  God rest  Mr Raulie, and my condolences to his family, Lidia Ann Moreno

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marion, his parents Ralph &amp; Irene Raulie, two brothers, Paul Raulie (Excelsior Springs, MO) and Don Raulie (Cedar Park, TX).
He is survived by 6 children. Dennis (Kathy) Raulie of Corpus Christi, Texas; Barbara (Barry) Evans of Florence, Texas; David (Tina) Raulie of Elkhart, Indiana; Mark (Julie) Raulie of Athens, Tennessee; Daniel (Karen) Raulie of San Antonio, Texas; Kevin (Tammy) Raulie of Dallas, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
