He grew up in Houston, TX and was a graduate of the University of Texas as well as the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs in Austin, TX. He was also a proud employee of the City of Austin for 28 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Fletcher Moore and his brother, Jesse Richard Moore. He is survived by his mother, Stella Herren Moore, his sister, Tedi Moore Banta, brother-in-law, Coy Banta, sister, Bonnie Moore Jones and two nieces and two nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Weed–Corley–Fish Funeral Home, located at 2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests charitable donations be made to the donor's charity of choice.
