Dios eligió los mejores padres para Gus, lo e visto crecer como si fuese mi sobrino y le aprecio mucho. Extrañare el optimismo y la gentileza de Gus y orare para que ustedes encuentren consuelo y para que el tenga un descanso eterno.

I'm sorry to hear about Gustavo's passing.  He was a student in my 5th grade class in Allison Elementary School.  Every one in class would look after him to make sure he felt at home.   Many of the students in class knew him since he had started with many of them when they started school at an early age.  The students always wanted him to participate in the school activities.  Mr. Velasquez (Principal) would come by and admire how Gustavo preseverance to attend school and also do his school work would inspire him as well as every one else in school.  I'm a better person as a teacher to have met and work with Gustavo.  Again my condolences.
