Today on July 11, 2016 an angel was released to be with her heavenly father. Mrs. Helen Sue Mitchell (Martin) was born on September 17, 1943 to the late Melba Southwell (Phelan) and William Robert Southwell. She will be there to see her husband, Charles (Charlie) Martin; two sisters, Linda and Pamela who went to see our heavenly father before her.
Helen is survived by her best friend and old long love, Butch Mitchell; her daughter, Melissa Gail Mitchell Wells; two grandchildren, Sabreina Wells and Robert Wells; son-in-law, Richard Wells; great-son-in-law, Jason Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Isaiah Wells, Analiyah Johnson, Dayton Johnson, Elijah Wells; sister, Vanessa Castoria; brothers, Roy, Phelan, Rusty Phelan; and many nieces and nephews.
Helen loved everyone dearly, was always strong willed and very independent! She loved her family very much. She was never afraid to tell it how it was. She was a beautiful soul and was always there for her family. The love she shared was one of a kind that was felt by many. She will be greatly missed. And will be forever loved and cherished by family and friends. Be with the angels momma. I know you will be with us.
