Ina Pauline (Girlie) Whitehead Mrs. Ina Whitehead, 91, passed away on September 20, 2007. She is survived by her son, Kenny of Austin, Texas; son, Glenn of Smithville, Texas; daughter-in-law, Barbara of Austin; granddaughter, Elizabeth Chappell of Austin; and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by her husband, Fred B. Whitehead; son, Fred B. Whitehead, Jr.; twin sister, Lady Schupp; and older brother, James Rush. A long-time resident of Austin, Mrs. Whitehead spent her time as a loving wife and mother. The family would like to thank the staff of AseraCare Hospice, Angel Heart Hospice, Dr. Mary Maxwell and staff, and Ullie Stewart. The familys deepest, heartfelt thanks to Tina Leyden for her miraculous care. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26th at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
