Jack Arthur Rountree

Jack Arthur Rountree passed away peacefully on August 16, 2021 at the age of 75 in Cedar Park, TX. Jack’s struggles with various medical conditions throughout his life showed his courage in facing challenges head on. Despite the many challenges, Jack came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end.

Jack was the son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Rountree of Austin, TX. He is survived by his 5 children: Gregory (Danette), Angela (Bobby), Kelly, Justin (Tina), and Amanda (Travis). He had 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild: Erin, Branon, Robert, Sam, Taylor, Jordan, Mia, Kyle, Matthew, Macy, Blake, Jackson, and Brooke.

Jack’s number one priority in life was his family. He loved playing the guitar, listening to music, hunting, watching old westerns, hot rods, taking his kids to the latest movies, model airplanes, gourmet cooking, telling stories, and sharing scripture. If you were to ask Jack what his greatest accomplishment in life was, he would have said “I have 5 of them.”

A memorial service will be planned soon for Jack, but at this time there are no arrangements to share. Our family thanks you for your understanding as well as your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
