James Harleston Crites was born in Austin, Texas on March 26, 1985. He grew up in Austin and attended McCallum High School. At the time of his death he resided in Kyle, Texas. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and he died while doing what he loved best, riding his bike. James had a good heart and he was a good man. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, father and friend.
He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Zelda Beth Ussery and Jehiel H. Crites, Jr.; nephew Preston Gregory Crites and his Aunt Joyce McNally. James is survived by his sons Kayden James Crites and Ryan Jace Crites; Parents, Stephen and Terri Crites; Brothers, Jonathan Crites and Brandon Crites; Sister, Katherine Crites; Grandparents, Wanda Crites and James Ussery; and, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017, 10:00am at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas.
