Mikey is preceded in death by his parents, Aima Dee Sherrod and James Sherrod. He is survived by one daughter, a brother, and several nieces and nephews.
He grew up in Hamilton County, Texas, where he was able to enjoy the country living it afforded and created lasting memories of fun in the open fields. As a young boy, Mikey was active in the Boy Scouts, where he developed a love for the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life.
Mikey enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, sharing stories, laughter and warmth. His lighthearted spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed.
No services will take place, but family and friends appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers during this time.
