Janet "Hat Lady" Jenkins

Janet Jenkins worked and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service in the engineering department as a CAD drafting clerk. She later worked at the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality for 13 years as an administrative assistant until her health declined.

She leaves to celebrate her life, a loving daughter, Sherina Jenkins; a beautiful granddaughter, Destiny Jenkins; her loving sister, Edna (Arthur) Washington of Crestview, Florida; her longtime best friend, Gwendolyn Wright; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

The Jenkins Family would like to thank the Medical Staff at Ascension Seton Medical Center and Hospice Austin for their commitment to excellent care of their loved-one.
