Jasper "Jay" William Benson IV died unexpectedly on May 29, 2013. He was born in Austin, Texas on January 27, 1970. He attended Stephen F. Austin High School and Austin Community College. He enjoyed playing guitar in his band, riding bikes, racing cars, and spending time with friends.
Jasper was preceded in death by his mother, Georgina Hunter. He is survived by his father, Jasper "Bill" William Benson III; sister, Jana Benson Miller and her husband Kory; brother, John Benson, his wife Tammy and their son Hunter; stepson, Solomon Dominguez.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, 3125 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78705.
