Jeanne attended St. Ann’s Academy in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and Villa Maria Convent in Montreal, Canada. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in New Haven, Connecticut, attended Albertus Magnus College, and later graduated from Bristol Hospital as an X-ray Technician.
In 1959, she moved to Houston, Texas, where she met and married her soulmate and husband of nearly 50 years, Joseph Brandt (deceased). Together they adopted four children — Michael, Denise, Ted (deceased), and Nicole.
Jeanne dedicated her life both to her family and her profession. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother for many years, creating a loving and faith-filled home while raising her children. Later, she resumed her career as an X-ray technician, working in Houston and Dallas imaging centers, including The Rose, where she eventually retired.
She loved bridge, mahjong, knitting, reading, and traveling, which she enjoyed with family and her sisters throughout the years. Jeanne’s deep faith in Jesus, her beautiful smile, and her gentle, comforting presence touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her son Michael Brandt (and wife Stephanie Brandt); daughters Denise Hutchison (deceased husband, Rusty Hutchison) and Nicole Brandt (and wife Alison Bosch); grandchildren Jonathan Brandt, Spencer Hall (and wife Ashley Hall), Cynthia Hebert (and husband Kaylan Hebert), Everett Hutchison, and Rebecca Hutchison; and great-grandchildren Jackson Raines, Scarlett, Kenneth, and Lavender Hebert.
She is also survived by her sisters Aurise Bain and Jacqueline Brodeur, along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Jeanne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
May the angels and saints embrace her in heaven.
