Carol and Family, I can only imagine how much you and everyone misses Joe.  I was part of the TSII team that made TEA monitoring visits all over.  Joe was such a great leader and educator and he always made the work more fun.  Without a doubt one knew Joe's greatest love was for his family and school children; He will be missed.

Joe was one of my first principals at Hill Country Middle School. Back when the school, and the district, was small, and everyone knew each other. Joe had  good sense of humor and we all enjoyed our days working there. My prayers are with the family.

I had the privilege of knowing Joe while working at the IRS.  He was a wonderful friend and had some of the best stories.  I will miss his stories and his wonderful spirit.  My deepest condolences to his family.

I will never forget the huge delicious cakes he used to bring us at the IRS, even though he wasn't suppose to eat sweets,  he always managed to 
get a sliver.He was so easy going and quite the Storyteller...one of a kind, he will be surely missed!

So sorry to hear of his passing. Joe was such a nice man, one of those people you were glad to have met even for a short time (I worked with Joe at the IRS for a short time).

Carol and Family, My sincere sympathy in your loss of JOE.  It was quite by accident that we "ran into" you and Joe,  just a few months back, as we were both on visits to a Care Center patient.  I just that day learned from you, Carol, of Joe's 
very recent  additional health problem. Since that day, I have ofen thought  "There stood a  great man,  while himself a sick man, supporting himself  by leaning against a post, while waiting for you, CAROLE ,his ride,  He had been there to visit another very sick friend.  What an example of "ioving your brother"!

Prayers for the family in this time of loss.  Joe gave me my first job out of college, in spite of the fact that I kept looking at my watch because I had a summer job to get to.  We laughed about that.  Joe was always larger than life to me.  Much respect for him.
