John Luke Metzler, age 5, of Austin, Texas, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He was born on September 12, 2003 in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, Japan to Mark and Taeko Matsumoto Metzler. John attended pre-school at the University of Texas CDC. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Taeko Metzler; brothers and sisters, Kairi, Tomas, Elisey, and Miranda; and by grandparents, Keiko Matsumoto, Violet and Robert Metzler. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Smith officiating.
