Our world is a richer place for the presence of George. He served his country in World War II and the Korean War and was a lifelong IBMer. He could slice a golf ball with the best, he carried a kind word and a large smile for everyone he met and we think once or twice he even voted for a Democrat. His three children - Jill, Christina and John, and son-in-law Karl, will miss him more than they know and more than they can express. And his golf playing friends and his card playing buddies will have more money in their pockets without George around to snare their coins.
Per George's request there will be no memorial service. His family will host an Open House at his home, 3612 Branigan Lane, Austin, TX, on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 4-7PM. Please join us as we raise a toast and remember a kind man, good friend, loving husband, father and grandfather who lived a full rich life. (Bring your quarters for 31)
May His Memory Be Eternal
