Joseph Daniel Pruett, 61, of Austin died on Friday, October 5, 2007. He was born on March 20, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to C.D. and Mary Etta Pruett. Joseph was a self-employed artist and resided at Austin for some 20 years. He had attended the University of North Texas at Denton. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Pruett in 1994, and his father in 2003. Joseph is survived by his mother, Mary Etta Pruett of Glen Rose; one niece, Julie Etta McAnear and husband, Donnie, of Nemo. Graveside service and burial will be conducted on October 20 at 2:00 pm in the Bartlett Cemetery at Bartlett. The family requests that memorials be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Glen Rose.
