Joseph E. Sab

Joseph Edward Sab was 81 years old, and passed away peacefully in is home with family on April 24th, 2017 in La Vernia, Texas. He was born and raised in Austin, Texas where he attended St. Edwards University before entering the Army. He eventually moved to San Antonio where he worked for El Dorado Vending for most of his career.

During his life he overcame many obstacles including a battle with cancer. He fought his way through this terrible disease which he beat for over 40 years. In the end Joe did sub come to the side effects of this terrible disease and what was considered its cure. Joseph had a strong Catholic Faith that helped him persevere through any challenge that life threw his way. He did not know a stranger and if there was anyone in need, he was always there to help.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Agnes Sab and his wife Betty LouAnn Sab. He is survived by his brother, Harvey Sab and wife, Rosie; and children, Sandra Hernandez and husband, Mark, David Sab, Daniel Sab and wife Diane, and Daisy Olivera and husband Andrew; his grandchildren, Joseph Hernandez, Ashley Aguilar, Blake and Jenna Sab, Abagail and Agatha Hernandez, Andrew Olivera Jr., Carmen Olivera and Nicholas Olivera; his great grandchildren, Ernesto Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez II, Isabella Hernandez, Enrique Hernandez, Sophia and Aiden Aguilar.

We would like to extend a heart felt thank you to following who helped our father in his journey.
