While an Army brat for the first 6 years living in Alabama, Texas and Germany, he grew up in Austin, Texas where he played soccer as often as he could and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High in 2004. He was a 2008 graduate of Austin College, Sherman, Texas. At the time of his death, he was a Retail Store Manager in Florida.
Joshua leaves behind many loved ones including his parents, Amy and JD Draper; his 10 month old son, Jaden, and Alexandria.
He was an amazing father and a man who would do anything for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing video games, and artwork. Many knew Josh as a friend that you could always fall back on for whatever reason. He was a kind and generous man, always loving and always caring. He touched the lives of many people and will be loved and missed.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2013 St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joshua to Austin Nature & Science Center, 301 Nature Center Drive, Austin, Texas 78746.
