

Juanita D. Cazares, 95 passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 after having a joyful and full life. She was born February 7, 1930, in Granger, Texas to Andrea Don Juan De La Rosa and Angel De La Rosa. She attended Hare Elementary School, Bartlett High School and graduated from Durham's Business College in Austin, Texas.
She was a dedicated businesswomen for over 40 years, she started her professional career working as a salesclerk at Zales Jeweler's and quickly became the office manager. After retiring from Zales Jewelers' she worked at Mission Jewelry and then at Kay's Jewelers.
It was for love and loyalty to her family that she retired in 1990. During her retirement, she devoted her time to caring for her husband, grandchildren, and her beloved garden and pets, Cookie. She was a loving wife and mother who always put her family first, dedicated her life to God and bettering the lives of her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family and friends.
She was known for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor and the gift of caring for all people, plants and animals. Those who truly knew her knew they had a friend for life who was there for them at any time. She will truly be missed by all.
Her devotion to her faith, prayer and the Blessed Sacraments' were always present in her actions for all to see and instilled them in her children. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church and Saint Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Oscar Cazares, parents Andrea and Angel De La Rosa; brothers- Pedro & Thomas De La Rosa, sisters- Benita Martinez, Marcelina Rocha, Jessie Martinez, Francis Lopez & Lupe Castillo.
She is survived by her sister Maria Flores, brother Angel De La Rosa, her children Oscar D. Cazares and wife Maria Isabel, Angelica Garcia and husband Dion, Edward D. Cazares and wife Sonia, grandchildren Oscar D. Cazares Il, Angelica-Lorena P. Cazares, Amber Hurtado and husband Isaac, Lauren Ortiz and husband Jose, Andrea Vigil and husband Josh, Madeline Cazares and six great grand kids. Serving as Pallbearers will be Oscar D. Cazares Il, Thomas De La Rosa Il, George Garza, Tony De La Rosa, Noah Ortiz and Jacob Ortiz.
