Julian brought his joy into this world on May 28, 2022, to devoted and excited parents, Tomy Alves and Cynthia Corral of Austin, Texas. With the happiness he filled their lives with, he also brought happiness and delight to everyone who was privileged to know and love him in his short 22 months of life. He was the epitome of a blessing to all, naturally bringing laughter, charm, and humor everywhere he went and to everyone he met.
Along with this immense joy, he was also very silly, and loved to dance, sing, and make people laugh. He enjoyed everything about tractors, planes, trucks, and helicopters, and he loved all dogs– making quick friends with every canine he encountered, especially his neighbors’ pets. His love also included Mickey Mouse and his favorite treat, cookies or “Galletitas,” as he called them. He showed extraordinary intelligence and was expressing himself bilingually. His favorite song was Old McDonald Had a Farm, asking for it to be sung with his title for it, “E-I-O.” He enjoyed splashing in water, whether at a water table or simply at the kitchen sink. His best friends were Abby and Jacob.
While his life was short here on earth, he was part of a love affair between his doting parents and himself, for which the three of them were all grateful to have had the last two years together. This love affair extended to his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, caregivers, and a large group of friends his family are blessed with. The earth has a void of angels walking among us now that he is gone, but it is all the better because he was here, even if for merely a moment.
