Karen was a member at First Baptist Church in Fairfield, Texas.
Karen had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, for many years and enjoyed singing in the church choir, teaching, working in Vacation Bible School and sewing costumes for church plays.
Karen's love of sewing included sewing for her daughters, quilting for her family and friends as well as those in need. She also loved to cook and bake, and was handy with canning and gardening. She loved to teach others the skills she acquired through the years.
She found great joy in spending quality time with family, friends, and her dog, Lily, as well as the occasional chance to swim or go boating.
Always the faithful friend, her gentle quiet spirit and sweet smile was seen by everyone.
