Karen Raye Overmyer

Karen Rae Overmyer, 74, of Cedar Park, Texas passed away with family by her side at Seton Northwest Hospital on Wednesday, May 15, 2017. She was born Wednesday, February 18, 1943 in Winslow, Indiana to the late Daniel Edwin McDonald and Edith Mae Brown. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 29 years, Roger Daniel Overmyer.

She grew up in Winslow, Indiana She married the love of her life, Roger Daniel Overmyer, on August 16, 1968. She was a loving mother, Geegee, and Great Geegee.

She is survived by her son, Donald Edwin Martin, daughter, Konnie Lee Mathis, children by marriage, Dennis & Corinne, Michelle Clark (Brian Clark, children Lily & Blake), Kristen, Cody (Kristen), Michael, Dawn Keuthe (Greg), Chelsea & Terry, Jeffery Overmyer (Lisa), Heather (daughter Layla), Jeffrey Daniel & Bailey and siblings Daniel McDonald Jr., James McDonald, Karla Pettit (Gene), and Kaye Kirk (Jeff). Grandchildren, Danielle Bayer (Mitchell), Lauren Adkins, Raylee Mathis, and Rachel Martin. Great-Grandchildren Braesyn Currie, Kenna Adkins, Kallee Adkins, and Brady Bayer. She was predeceased by her father Daniel Edwin McDonald, mother, Edith Mae Brown, and step-father Charles Edgar Brown.

Funeral Services will be held at Cook Walden Chapel of the Hill on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 3 pm. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in the name of Karen Overmyer.
