Karen Esther Turano was born on April 20th, 1944 and at age 76 passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2020 at St. Davids North Austin Medical Center in Austin. She was born and raised in Miami and later married to Albert Barrie Turano with whom she lived a beautiful and long life and raised three children Robin, Angela, and Christopher. Her survivors are her daughter Angela Adams and her brother Paul Tharp. Karen Turano was known as a matriarch of both her immediate family and her family in christ because she was heavily active in Shoreline Christian Center. She was a wife, sister, mom, grandma, recent great grandma, who had a heart of gold and loved on everyone inside her large circle whether it be through prayer, kind words, or some down right good cooking, she was always a blessing to have around.
