Kathy Bittick Becker passed away on June 25, 2021 in Austin, Texas at the age of 64. Kathy was dearly loved by her husband Robert Becker and their children, Erin Bernsen and Ethan Becker. Kathy is also survived by her son-in-law Travis Bernsen and her grandsons Blake and Dane Bernsen.
Kathy was a native of Austin and a graduate of Lanier High School. Kathy graduated from Southwest Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. Kathy began her career in the San Marcos School District teaching third grade, and then later moved on to the Hays School District. Kathy later became an elementary reading specialist and taught at Tom Green, Pfluger, and Fuentes Elementary Schools in the Hays District.
In retirement Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and creating ornate and personalized custom greeting cards for her family and providing cards for nursing homes and women's shelters.
