

She passed just before noon on Friday, the 2nd of November 2012, after a long, courageous fight with lupus.
Kazan was preceded in death by her parents, Curlee Hill and Mary Lynn Dillard of Waxahachie, TX and her uncle, Clifford Davis of Paris, TX.
She is survived by her husband, Marcus Gadison; daughter, Kianna Alexander of Austin, TX; stepson, Marcus Gadison Jr. of Florida; stepdaughter, Destanie Gadison of Killeen, TX.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Lonny Gaston (Rhonda), Karla Hill and Curlee Wayne Hill of Paris, TX; Bertha Hughes (Carey) and Amber Brown of Waxahachie, TX; Vickie Taylor (James) of Tyler, TX; Travis Hill (Rhonda) of Clarksville, TX; Rita Smith (Norris) of Pittsburgh, TX; Yolanda Smith (Earl), Jimmy Love (Brenda), Verna Love (Kevin) of Dallas, TX.
Kazan is survived by six aunts: Bertha Bayless and Ruby Johnson of Dallas, TX, Bertha Wilkinson of Waxahachie, TX, Fannie Hill of California, Odessa Davis of Paris, TX and JoAnn Crawley of Hugo, OK.
She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, friends, godmother, Linda Hicks, and two special cousins, Kelwin and Tartisha Hill.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with family on Friday, the 9th of November from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, the 10th of November at two o’clock in the afternoon at St James Missionary Baptist Church, 1812 EM Franklin in Austin. Interment will immediately follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 South IH 35, Austin.
