Kendra was a dedicated worker who approached every position with commitment and excellence. Among her most notable roles while living in Austin was her time at Region 13 Education Service Center, where she served as an Educator Certification Program Assistant. In this role, Kendra worked diligently to process and maintain records for the Teacher Certification Program, ensuring that aspiring educators had the support and documentation they needed.
Before her work at Region 13, Kendra was employed by the University of Texas Credit Union, where she contributed to the organization's operations with her characteristic attention to detail. She also spent time at the Capital of Austin gift shop—a position she truly loved, embracing the chance to interact with both locals and visitors alike.
As she prepared to relocate to Las Vegas, Kendra sought new opportunities and applied for a position at CBS Radio’s Operations (Audacy) in Las Vegas. She was selected for the role and went on to have a remarkable 21-year tenure as the radio Traffic Director. In this capacity, Kendra was responsible for scheduling commercial segment slots, ensuring that advertisements were seamlessly integrated into radio broadcasts. On one occasion, her own voice was featured in a commercial segment that aired on the radio, showcasing her versatility and willingness to contribute wherever she was needed.
Kendra continued her dedicated service at CBS Radio until her health no longer allowed her to work. During her time there, she formed many lasting friendships, and she and her colleagues remained in touch, supporting each other through the years.
Kendra deeply loved her daughter Jasmine, supporting her basketball aspirations and ensuring she graduated from Wells College in Aurora, New York.
