

Kenneth Ray Snow passed away on May 25, 2015 in Austin, Texas. Ken was born on August 9, 1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Lawson Edward and Elsie Arlene (Saul) Snow. He grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas and graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1969. Ken received a degree in Mass Communications from Texas Tech University in 1973 and immediately began working in television news as a reporter and anchor. His career took him from Amarillo, TX to Midland, TX to Birmingham, AL and culminated in the morning and noon anchor positions for station KTBC Channel 7 in Austin.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Shelby Lynne Snow and grandson Cameron of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters Ruth Ann Spencer of Memphis, TX and Patsy Immel of Richmond, TX; nieces JoAnn Molloy, Debbie Immel and Diane (Immel) Hunt; nephews Terry Allard and Chris Allard.
Celebration of Life to be at 1:00pm Friday June 12, 2015 at Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar, Austin, TX. Graveside service will be at 10:30am on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Salesville Cemetery outside of Mineral Wells, TX.
