Born on September 16, 1963, in Gatesville, Texas, Kim was the daughter of Virginia Parrish and the late June Parrish. She graduated from Gatesville High School and went on to build a successful career in real estate. For over three decades, she served the Austin area as a dedicated Realtor. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own business, Virtual Management Specialist, where she provided contract and listing support for fellow Realtors.
Kim’s life was marked by her deep devotion to family and her many passions. She was a loving mother to Dana Sanchez and mother-in-law to Sergio Sanchez III. Her greatest joy came from being “Meme” to Isabella Sanchez, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. She is also survived by her sister Christi Mooney and nephew Cooper Mooney.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Wallace; her father June Parrish; and her grandparents R.W. Burt and Edith Burt.
Kim had an adventurous spirit and a zest for life that touched everyone around her. She loved drag racing and found great happiness in baking and cooking for those she loved. A talented crafter, she poured creativity into every project and took pride in running her candle business, Apple Creek Candles back in the 2000s. Her love for flowers—especially roses—was evident in the beauty she cultivated around her.
Known for always offering a helping hand, Kim had a heart full of compassion and generosity. She looked out for others with unwavering care and loved her family deeply.
May Kimberly’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Sanchez Home.
