Missing you Lance!  Hope you are running free up there!

Dear Dee & Rick ~ my deepest sympathy for your loss of sweet Lance.  🙏 I had not heard of his passing, but just today saw your note re anniversary date of his passing.  No doubt, Lance received his beautiful angel wings, & we all will see him again in our eternal home.   When I think of Lance always remember his sweet smile & twinkle in his eyes.  He loved y’all so much & was blessed to have y’all for his loving parents, just as you were to have him.  My prayers are with you all to be comforted by good memories of life with Lance.

Lance was one of those rare people who I could sit down with, no matter how much time had passed, and we'd pick up  right where we left off.  I'm devastated to learn of his passing.  My heartfelt condolences to his family and others who loved him.

Lance and I became friends  through a computer bulletin board system back in the 80's before there was an internet.  Shortly thereafter he moved to Austin to join the tech scene.  He and I became best buddies and went on several ski and SCUBA diving trips together.   He was a confidant and one of my best friends in Austin.  I am still in shock that he is no longer with us and will be grieving his loss for some time.    I will always have fond memories of Lance.  

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Lance Hartmann. My thoughts and prayers are with Lance's family. It was a joy to work in the presence of Lance. He will be truly missed, my deepest condolence.

Lance and I were high school friends.    Our lives took different roads after graduation and we lost touch....  but whenever I think back to those days, I will always do so fondly because of him.   He had a big heart,  was genuine,  down to earth and the kind of person you wanted to aspire to be like.         

Heaven has gained a truly good soul.   

 

Lance and I shared all our classes together in 9th grade and because of this, we quickly became best friends...and continued throughout high school.  We made up Latin jokes, danced  at discos, snuck into adult movies, did all our homework telephonically , and we laughed and cried  together through all four years of high school.  Although we went on very different paths after high school, we were in and out of contact over the past 35+ years, even if thousands of miles away.  I will truly value and love everything that was you Lance and I will miss you dearly.  Live and love  life to the fullest in your afterlife.  My sympathies go out to your family. 

I was shocked when the news reached me of Lance's passing. I had known and worked with Lance since 2005 when we hired him at NextIO.  He was truly one of the most honest, hard working and honorable people I've ever known. 
He also had a great sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind. 

As I send my most sincere condolences to Lance's family, know this; his parents must have done a lot a things right to have raised and put forward on this Earth such a fine and decent human being.
