Larry Kaye Franke

Larry Kaye Franke Sr. , 71 of Kingsland, Texas, Retired Plumber, died April, 29th 2015. Larry spent his last days surrounded by his family. "Big Larry" was born in Austin and spent most of his career in the area. At one time he was considered to be the fastest "set-out" plumber in Austin, Texas. This is a huge achievement among plumbers.

He delighted in the accomplishments of all his children. They all have achieved greatness in their own way. He had reason to be proud.

He is survived by his spouse of 27 years, Sharon Franke who resides in Paige, Texas. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses, Larry Kaye & Kathy Franke, Cassie Kaye & Donnie Huslage, Eric Dwain & Rebecca Franke from a previous marriage of 19 years to Quita Routson, the children's mother. He will be sorely missed by his sister, Sandra Hille and Brother Roger Franke.

Grand Children, Kaylea Nicole Franke, Christopher Denton Huslage, Amy Kayann Huslage, Sarah Kaye Huslage, D.J. Huslage, and Preston Kaye Franke all adored their ornery Grandpa! He will be deeply missed. He was also blessed with 6 Great Grandchildren...They made him "GREAT"!

As you might notice, most of the children, grandchildren are named with Grandpas middle name.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Milton & Mattie Franke, sister June Hill, brother Johnny Franke, and Great Granddaughter McKenzie Kaydell Huslage.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with graveside services at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park, 4219 Park Road 4 South in Burnet, Texas, on Saturday, May 2, 2015.
