The family settled in Austin, TX in 1968 where he was employed by the United States Postal Service for 21 years. He quickly grew tired of retirement and worked at Wal-Mart for the last 10 years as a greeter. One of Dads greatest joys was shooting the breeze with people he met. During his years at the Post Office, he loved bowling on the team leagues and won many trophies. He also enjoyed listening to his music and watching historic war movies. He was a kind and gentle man who will be forever missed by his loving family.
